Grouper Again!

Look like I have really hit onto a Grouper Spot.

11th Apr 2009, 1st time there. Landed one grouper
18th Apr 2009, 2nd time there. Landed one grouper

Today 9th May 2009, 3rd time there and guess what.......
I landed one grouper again!!!!!!!

Met up with Chunxia at Tiong Bahru Plaza at ard 2.30pm. Bought mineral water and off we were to our Grouperland.

In half an hour time, we reached and were shocked by the crowd.
There were at least 8-9 rods and more than 10 pple on the breakwater.


We managed to found a spot on the left side of the breakwater. Settled down and started the Waiting Game.

Spotted a guy trying to surf using a big 'Kite' or whatever they call it.


My tackle

Things wasn't looking quite good as there was not much bite. Casting was also greatly affected by the super strong wind.

Was thinking that it gotta be another fishless day when this baby came knocking on my door.

I guess luck was on my side. It was near to six pm. Reeled my rig in to do some rebait. Casted it out and was reeling in the slack line when Bang!!!

Fish ON! Gave a strike and managed to land this baby within seconds...

After the photo session, a crowd had already gathered around us.
Unhooked the grouper and released it back into the sea....

Apparently, this action of mine invited some unwanted 'attention'

Chinaman: Hey why you caught the fish and released it back???

Me: Cause it was too small to be eaten...

After this baby grouper, there was no more action.

By 6.30pm, most of the anglers have left...


Since there was not much action, we packed up and left at 7.15pm
